Gideon – our “official” 20,000th rescued life! This poor boy was so badly broken. He was suffering from a severely broken leg (which was beyond repair and required amputation), a fractured pelvis, a hind leg needing a femoral head ostectomy (FHO), heartworm positive, severe areas of road rash abrasions and starvation. With this diagnosis his prognosis was very poor and the odds of survival were slim. Thanks to TEAMWORK, we were able to save him, provide vetting and find him a fabulous forever home! This is the story of ONE dog. We are THRILLED to celebrate the rescue of 20,000 Gideons!
