Leigh Ann McDowell has always had a passion for helping people and animals. She began working with Animal Aid assisting at arrivals. In 2014, Leigh traveled on her first caravan and met a special dog, Cody, on that trip. Shortly after, after watching potential adopters fall through, Leigh decided it was time to make their doggie door bigger and add Cody to the family. Having Cody and helping with Animal Aid has shown her that she has a special purpose in this world, and she works every day to help make life better for everyone, dogs and humans alike. Leigh is currently studying to become a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor at Atlantic County Community College. When she is not attending classes, or working as a surgical scheduler, Leigh enjoys making custom birdfeeders for her company, LoveLeigh Creations and photography.
