Anesha spent many years in the cosmetology world, but found her true love in rescue. In April of 2016, she discovered Rick and Nancy Allmon and Animal Aid USA, which led to her volunteer work commitment. Having fostered over 100 lives in the past year, she is frequently the one to pick up last chance dogs of all ages. She transports almost every weekend from Savannah to Jacksonville for several organizations and sees lost souls off safely to their bright futures. Anesha has participated in educational events and fundraisers at Blackshear Elementary School and Patterson Elementary where she hosted an informational booth along with her helper, little Mollie.
Anesha is especially loved by the caravan volunteers, as she sees us off monthly with an incredible hot lunch prior to departure. She catered the August 2016 and March 2017 flyaway events, as well as being the official chef for any special occasions. We all look forward to her amazing down home cooking, never failing to surprise us, but always treating us to delicious food topped off with fabulous desserts. Anesha knows the way to a rescuers heart is through our stomachs, and she never ceases to amaze us.
