This post is to give a special shout out to all our rescue partners! At the end of June, the Georgia Rescue Caravan made its first “almost normal” trip since the coronavirus pandemic started. The past few months have been challenging for Animal Aid USA and our receiving rescues. Even going forward, we don’t know what the future holds due to continuing and ever-changing travel restrictions, but it was so good to be back! Despite the pandemic, dogs still needed rescuing and our receiving rescues really stepped up! We had continued smaller trips during the early spring and summer, saving as many dogs as our rescues could take. Many of our rescue partners took dogs that needed extra medical treatment despite having limited funds due to reduced donations during these trying times. Thank you to all the rescues, fosters, volunteers, and supporters that have allowed us to continue! 252 dogs made the trip from Georgia this past weekend. If you see a pup you would like to adopt, please comment on the picture and someone will try to direct you to the receiving rescue that has the pup. Our rescues have many more pups than the ones that are pictured, so contact them directly for more information on available furever friends! If you can’t adopt, you can contact one of our rescues for fostering information and if you can’t foster, a small donation goes a long way towards saving these dogs! Visit our Adopt! page on this site to connect with our rescue partners and see what dogs and pups they have available for adoption or to see how you can help them continue to help us!
