Sheryl began working with rescues in 1998 with an organization in California. She became CERT certified, and planned to go on to emergency animal rescue. Plans changed and Instead she moved to GA! Sheryl first began working with Carpathia PAWS as a foster. Her first encounter with MOMS (now Animal Aid USA) was in 2010 and has been a MOMS/Animal Aid USA team member ever since. She oversaw the daily activities at Miracle Ranch through its closure 4 years ago. She followed the team to Blackshear where she retired from hands on care twenty-four seven due to health issues but still remains a very active and valued team member through her help in fostering and transport.
