Caravan Member

Kristin’s passions are teaching and rescuing animals. Kristin first became involved with Animal Aid 2011 when she and her wife, Joan, rescued their dog Bella from Hinesville, GA.  As their fur-family grew with an additional 5 dogs over the years, 3 with special needs, so did her desire to become part of the rescue family. Krisitin and Joan have opened their home to numerous fosters over the years and she has traveled with the caravan. Joan now travels on the caravans while Kristin tends to the dogs at home.

The school where Kristin teaches is active in collecting donations and fundraising for Animal Aid and several students and their families have helped unload dogs at arrival.

It is Kristin’s dream to develop a curriculum for schools in New Jersey and also rural Georgia to educate future generations about the importance of spaying and neutering and the proper care of animals. She feels it is these generations we must reach in order to make a difference in the lives of animals.
