Avid animal lover and equestrian, Kaitlyn Sandersen is a co-founder and board member of the junior division of Animal Aid USA and has been involved in the organization since 2012. She has participated on numerous caravan trips to Georgia along with lending a helping hand at arrivals on the Jersey side. Kaitlyn is an honors student and has aspirations to enroll in medical school with the ultimate goal of becoming a surgeon. Her drive to succeed can be seen when she competes in the USEF A/AA junior hunters circuit in equestrian show jumping and hopes to move to highest A/AA circuit divisions within the next few years. She would like to continue to competing as an amateur along with being a practicing surgeon. When not spending time with her 2 horses, she enjoys the company of her 5 dogs and 2 cats.
