Sam Wheaton

I am married to Stefanie and have a son Jack. I retired in 2009 from the NJ Department of Corrections. Retirement has allowed me to devote time to rescue. We started our rescue journey in 2015 and we have fostered 100 puppies/dogs. We are very proud to foster for WoofLove Rescue.
We enjoy the love of our 3 rescues, Abbey Road, PennyLane, and last but certainly not least is little Sexy Sadie. Penny and Sadie were our fosters and yes they call it foster fail but it was a win for us and them.

In 2020, I made my first trip to Georgia with Animal Aid USA, and was entitled Chef Sam. I love to cook, in fact passionate about it. Each trip to Georgia entails a lot of hard work from these who travel there along with Rick and Nancy and their team at camp. I am the back up to Connie in the kitchen and fill her shoes in her absence. My favorite part of each trip is Friday night’s dinner where we have had as many as 30 folks join us as we bread bread together!
